Children will need a grown-up at home with them who can assist in doing hands-on (with care and respect) self-defense scenario practice.

This workshop is taught by 4th degree black belt instructor, licensed K-12 teacher, and Covid-cautious homeschool parent Jenny Johnson-Blanchard. With over 30 years experience in martial arts (over 25 of those in the capacity of an instructor), Jenny's teaching is neurodivergent-affirming and centers on inclusion and the development of the whole child. By combining her expertise of martial arts techniques with a teaching philosophy that focuses on connection with her students, she is able to incorporate character development and individualized instruction so that each child is able to grow in their own unique way.
