Ignite Karate is more than a martial arts school. We are a community dedicated to helping children grow physically, emotionally, and socially.
Our virtual classes combine martial arts training with valuable life skills such as focus, self-control, perseverance, respect, responsibility, and leadership. Our goal isn't just to create great martial artists—it's to help raise compassionate, capable, and confident young people who are ready to make a difference in the world.

High Quality Instruction
Jenny has over 30 years experience in martial arts, and holds the rank of 4th degree black belt. She has taught martial arts for over 25 years in both in-person and virtual formats. Her care and love for helping children grow through martial arts provides the foundation for her classes.
Effective and Accessible Virtual Format
Our live and interactive classes are fun and accessible! Our virtual format allows us to bring karate to students from all backgrounds, to enjoy from the comfort of their own homes. We believe that all kids deserve safe and inclusive access to high quality activities. We are proud of our comprehensive curriculum, which provides students with a virtual path to the esteemed rank of black belt and beyond.
Karate Basics
A fun and exciting introduction to karate. Perfect for new or beginning karate students!
We will cover basic blocks, kicks, strikes, and punches, while playing games and having fun! At the end of this session, students will earn their first karate belt.
Level: no belt through blue belt
Weekly Schedule:
-Tu 12:30 pm CT- 1:00 pm CT
-W 4:45 pm CT - 5:15 pm CT
-F 2:15 pm CT - 2:45pm CT
Ages 4-12, max class size: 10 students
Cost: $70/month; siblings 1/3 off, includes up to 2 classes/week
Intermediate Karate
We expand on our basic karate stances, strikes, blocks, and kicks, while paying games and having fun!
Level: blue belt through brown belt
Weekly Schedule:
-Tu 1:15 pm CT- 1:45 pm CT
-W 5:30 pm CT - 6:00 pm CT
-F 1:30 pm CT - 2:00 pm CT
Ages 4-teen
Cost: $70/month; siblings 1/3 off, includes up to 2 classes/week
Advanced Karate
We dive deeper into technique and students take a front seat in preparing themselves on their journey to their black belt.
Level: brown belt through black with a white band belt
Weekly Schedule:
-Tu 2:40pm CT- 3:20pm CT
-W 5:30 pm CT - 6:00 pm CT
-F 12:45 pm CT - 1:15 pm CT
Ages 7-teen
Cost: $70/month; siblings 1/3 off, includes up to 2 classes/week
Black Belt Karate
We dive deeper into technique and students take a front seat in preparing themselves on their journey to their black belt.
Level: 1st degree black belt and higher
Weekly Schedule:
-T 3:30pm CT - 4:15pm CT
-W 6:15pm CT - 7:00pm CT (conditioning)
Ages 8-teen
Cost: $70/month; additional siblings 1/3 off, includes up to 2 classes/week
