Our Mission
Ignite Karate Virtual Academy is committed to providing a safe, radically inclusive, and supportive community in which students can learn and grow. Our mission is to empower our students with the skills and confidence they need to reach their full potential by developing valuable life skills such as focus, self-control, perseverance, respect, responsibility, empathy, and leadership. Students learn to set goals, overcome obstacles, and develop confidence in themselves.
Importantly, our classes are built specifically for the virtual learner; we are committed to providing high quality instruction with an emphasis on equity and accessibility.

Community & Connection
At Ignite Karate, we believe every child deserves to be seen, valued, and celebrated for who they are. Our community is built on the understanding that children learn, grow, and shine in different ways, and we strive to create a welcoming environment where every child feels a sense of belonging. Through encouragement, respect, and meaningful connections, we help students build confidence, grow friendships, and have FUN while learning!

Our Curriculum
Our curriculum is designed with a spiral approach, where techniques and concepts are revisited and built upon at various points in the learning journey to reinforce understanding and facilitate deeper and more complex application.
Our curriculum is broken down into exciting and easy to access three-month sessions. Because our curriculum is backwards-designed from black belt, students are learning everything they need to know and eventually master, in smaller, achievable chunks or sessions along the way.
